I am NOT my hair...at least let's hope so...

Ok...so I will admit that there are certain things in this life that I just don't have..certain female skills that you know most girls growing up in Forestville MD (blatant stereotype right) you would think that I would have...

One of thing that I can NOT do is my own hair or nails...

I just have never been a at home hair care kinda girl...

But due to various budgetary reasons...tonight I am going to venture into this deep abyss of hair I don't know how or what will happen...but I promise you that it will not be pretty...

So with that said...I pray that what the song says, I am not my hair and I won't be judged by the hideous concoction that is about to ensue....

TRUST this will NOT end pretty....LOL

Eff it. You never know till you try it. And if you keep trying, you'll probably get better at it. Everything gets better with practice. And maybe one day you'll be able to save yourself some dough and do it on your own

so you did ok huh? That's good. Yeah girl practice practice practice. The more you do it, the better you get. I'm the master with the hot comb now. I haven't gotten my crimping skills down yet, but it's about to be on because I am NOT spending no $45 for a press and curl UNLESS I'm just plain tired or want some special treatment, which may end up being like once every month. =/ But do it up girl!!!

I feel you honey cause its something I can deal with...and I am just going to work on my flat ironing skills...I bought them top of the line products (you know I still got that "issue") but no seriously I got the stuff that the lady said was good for "our" hair...which is also the stuff I have seen Li use...I went home and worked it out....I realize that I need to wash my hair at least once a week...so I see me at the hair dressers like you said once a month for a deep conditioner and when its touch-up time...I won't be cheap with regard to that...

I never learned to do much with my hair as a kid...I was too busy building bike ramps, climbing trees and acting in impromtu stories with my best friend. Now Baby Girl (she's 9) is into nail painting and hair do-ing...and I watch, lol. She's better with her nails than I ever was. I should seriously invest my time in learning how to french braid...or something.
