Did we say WEs got talent?!

So here lately there has been a lot of talent coming out of DC...and I am loving it...
If you haven't already heard it...
J. Holiday-Be with Me

Then we can't forget my man...the dude that took that DC Soul and brought it back to the forefront...
Raheem DeVaughn
Imma take it back to the orignial for that dude....
Guess who loves you more

I so wish he would have done a video for Believe...that is THE jam!

But you know this song YOU....great dedication to the ladies....

Finally there is this other cat out Tabi Bonney and his song YOU/Put me in the Pocket...
dude is aiight....

This dude itsn't the greatest...but his music is what I am really feeling...then I like the video with the area youth doing the "beat your feet" dance....

I don't know the new dude J. Holiday is what sparked this post...I just feel like there is a lot of talent in the DC Metro area and we need to start putting it out there...

Peace

I love all of these, especially J. Holliday. They play it all the time on VH1 Soul. Since I got that, I've tuned all commercial TV out.

Raheem DeVaughn's YOU-classic

Thanks for the music!

Raheem is DAT DUDE!

Solid CD. Guess who loves you more, you, believe, is it possible.

He's good.

I haven't really heard the Tabi Boney dude. Not really interested from the snippet I've heard.

Raheem is DA TRUTH! The CD is definitely full of quality tracks.

Tabi Bonney is aiight. He's growing on me the more of his stuff I hear. The first time I heard, "Put Me in the Pocket" I wasn't feeling it, but now I like it.

Definitely feeling J. Holliday :-)

Oh and I saw Raheem perform recently. lol. That boy is off the hook. He was so extra with everything. Feeling all over himself and what not. Running into the crowd. Licking his lips. I was like "who is this!?" lol.

I've noticed the immense amount of talent in the DC area. I love me some Raheem DeVaugh. Had the opportunity to see him perform life a few times, and got to meet him. He's so down to earth and approachable. And his live performances are the truth!! Boy can SANG!!!
